De voetbalclub FC Groningen gaat een mobiele app uitbrengen voor Smartphones zoals de I-phone en Android toestellen. De app is vanaf vandaag te downloaden via de App store en Android Market. De app bevat nieuws en informatie over FC Groningen en haar spelers, aangevuld met live-statistieken tijdens de wedstrijd, de opstelling maar ook video’s met hoogtepunten en achtergronden.
Supporters van FC Groningen konden al gratis onderling met elkaar bellen via FC Groningen Mobiel. Nu breidt de club haar mobiele activiteiten uit met een applicatie voor je mobiel.
Commercieel manager Robbert Klaver van FC Groningen ziet dit als een vanzelfsprekende stap in de communicatie naar en met supporters: “FC Groningen Fans zijn zeer betrokken bij de club, ook als er geen wedstrijden worden gespeeld. En met name in tijden als deze, wordt de club intensief gevolgd. Dat merken wij niet alleen in het stadion maar ook aan het aantal website bezoekers en in sociale media als Twitter en Hyves. Deze app is een verdergaande stap in het tegemoet komen aan de behoefte van fans om altijd en overal op de hoogte te blijven van de laatste ontwikkelingen bij de club.” Downloaden van de app De app is te downloaden via de App store of Android Market.
