Ieder kind moet kunnen sporten. Dankzij het framevoetbal kunnen ook kinderen met een lichamelijke beperking doen wat ze graag doen: lekker voetballen. In vijf afleveringen vertellen vier framevoetballers onder meer wie ze zijn, welke uitdagingen en welke dromen ze hebben in het leven hebben. Maak kennis met Eva, Milan, Hakam en Nate in de videoserie van FC Groningen genaamd 'Buitengewone voetballers'.
Milan is ondanks forse tegenslagen in zijn leven een vrolijke jongen. Hij heeft veel vriendjes op school en laat zich door niets of niemand afremmen. Moeder Helena heeft dan ook alle reden om trots te zijn op haar zoon. Ze heeft veel respect voor de manier waarop Milan door zijn beperkingen heen kijkt en alles uit zijn leven haalt.
Zingend en lachend slaat Milan zich overal doorheen. Als iets niet op de reguliere wijze kan, dan vindt Milan samen met zijn gezin wel een oplossing. Ook op het voetbalveld. Via framevoetbal kan Milan zijn geliefde sport uitoefenen. Later in deze serie blijkt de vrolijke scholier ook nog eens een super goede coach en echte captain. Maak kennis met deze echte doorzetter via onderstaande videoplayer.
Ondanks hun lichamelijke beperking, laten de hoofdrolspelers in de serie Buitengewone voetballers zich niet uit in het veld slaan. Ook niet op het gebied van voetballen. Met hun frame zijn ze uitstekend in staat te schitteren binnen de lijnen. In een FC-shirt bij het officiële G-team van FC Groningen, Kids United. Ieder kind moet kunnen sporten. Meer en Beter bewegen daar zet de Trots van het Noorden op in. Met elkaar, met of zonder handicap. In de eerste vier afleveringen maakt de kijker kennis met de helden van deze serie, in aflevering vijf komen de werelden van framevoetbal en regulier voetbal samen en blijken de framevoetballers de absolute sterspelers in het veld.
