Op 1 december 2011 bestond vv Omlandia uit Ten Boer precies 60 jaar. Ter ere van deze gelegenheid zal Oud FC Groningen zaterdagmiddag 2 juni spelen tegen een team van oud-Omlandia-spelers. Toegang is gratis.
In 1951 zaten de zes oprichters om tafel en werden twee senioren- en twee jeugdelftallen ingeschreven. Inmiddels heeft vv Omlandia zes senioren-, achttien jeugd- en zeven zaalvoetbalteams. Daarmee is het de grootste sportvereniging uit de gemeente Ten Boer. Jubileumwedstrijd Onderdeel van het feestprogramma is een wedstrijd tegen Oud FC Groningen. Op 2 juni 2012 om 17.00 uur trapt Oud FC Groningen af tegen een selectie van oud-Omlandia-spelers. Deze jubileumwedstrijd wordt gespeeld op het sportpark aan de Sportlaan in Ten Boer en is voor de bezoekers vrij toegankelijk.
Bij Oud FC Groningen zullen (onder voorbehoud) onder anderen Henk de Haan, Ronald Steenge, Hugo Alves Velame, Martin Drent, Johan Tukker en Theo ten Caat hun opwachting maken. Het elftal staat onder leiding van coach Piet Fransen. Na afloop treedt de muziekband Ageless op in de kantine.
