De laatste reguliere uitzending van FC Groningen TV van 2018 op FOX Sports blikt vooruit op de wedstrijd van zaterdagavond tegen Fortuna Sittard. Daarnaast kijken oud-spelers Paul Mason en Garry Brooke terug op het seizoen 1987-1988 van FC Groningen.
Afgelopen maandag speelden de reserves van FC Groningen tegen die van FC Emmen. Op Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn won FC Groningen met 2-0 van FC Emmen. FCG TV toont de hoogtepunten van de oefenwedstrijd en laat één van de doelpuntenmakers, Amir Absalem, aan het woord over het duel.
Onlangs waren Paul Mason en Garry Brooke in het kader van 'De Helden van Weleer' weer even terug in Groningen. De twee Engelsen speelden anderhalf jaar samen in Groningen en beleefden een bijzonder seizoen 1987-1988. FCG TV kijkt met beiden terug op dat jaar. Een seizoen die slecht begon, maar uiteindelijk toch Europees voetbal opleverde.
Daarnaast is er een vooruitblik op de uitwedstrijd tegen Fortuna Sittard met aanvoerder Mike te Wierik en vertelt Ron Jans waarom hij aan het einde van dit seizoen stopt als manager technische zaken.
