FC Groningen TV heeft vanavond een uitgebreide reportage met topscorer Mimoun Mahi. Daarnaast blikt Ernest Faber vooruit naar de belangrijke wedstrijd van zondag tegen FC Twente.
Afgelopen zondag werd Mimoun Mahi na de thuiswedstrijd tegen PSV uitgeroepen tot Essent Speler van het Jaar. Voor Mahi een complete verrassing want hij wist van niets. Toch komt het niet zomaar uit de lucht vallen dat Mahi speler van het jaar is geworden van FC Groningen. Hij scoorde dit seizoen al zeventien keer en is uitgegroeid tot één van de belangrijke spelers in de selectie van trainer Ernest Faber. FCG TV heeft een uitgebreid gesprek met Mahi die vertelt waarin hij het afgelopen seizoen beter is geworden. Daarnaast kijkt FCG TV met Mahi naar zijn vijf mooiste doelpunten tot nu toe van dit seizoen.
Als Mahi komende in Enschede ook scoort tegen FC Twente, dan maakt dat de kans groter dat FC Groningen gaat winnen van de Tukkers. En dat is nodig want alleen winst kan FC Groningen nog de play-offs om Europees voetbal in helpen. Dan moet sc Heerenveen of Heracles Almelo wel verliezen. FCG TV blikt met trainer Ernest Faber vooruit naar de wedstrijd van zondag. Faber laat weten dat hij alle vertrouwen heeft in een goede afloop.
Verder laat Tom Hiariej weten hoe het afscheid afgelopen zondag was van de fans van FC Groningen en is er een item met Ajdin Hrustic die een verbeterd contract met FC Groningen overeen kwam en vanaf volgend seizoen vast deel uit maakt van de eerste selectie van Faber.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports kanaal 3. De uitzending wordt vanavond om 19.45 uur en om 21.15 uur herhaald op kanaal 3. Zaterdag is FCG TV te zien om 11.15 uur op kanaal 1 en om 13.35 uur en 21.30 uur op kanaal 3.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
