Donderdagavond 18 december is de laatste uitzending van FC Groningen TV voor de winterstop te zien. Naast ruime aandacht voor het bekertreffen met FC Volendam komt Mimoun Mahi aan het woord over zijn basisdebuut tegen Vitesse, vertelt oud-trainer Han Berger hoe het met hem gaat en laat FCG TV de mooiste goals van dit seizoen van clubtopscorer Michael de Leeuw zien.
Afgelopen zondag stond Mimoun Mahi voor het eerst in de basis van FC Groningen. Mahi speelde een opvallende rol door veel gevaar te stichten in de verdediging van Vitesse en een aandeel te hebben in de gelijkmaker van Tjaronn Chery. FCG TV volgde Mahi tijdens zijn basisdebuut en vroeg Fox Sports-analist en oud-FC-speler Evgeniy Levchenko wat hij van Mahi vindt.
FC Groningen heeft regelmatig oud-spelers en -trainers te gast. Han Berger, trainer van FC Groningen tussen 1983 en 1986, was aanwezig bij de Derby van het Noorden tegen sc Heerenveen. FCG TV vroeg Berger wat hij tegenwoordig doet en keek met hem terug op een paar hoogtepunten uit zijn tijd bij de FC.
Michael de Leeuw is clubtopscorer van FC Groningen in zowel de competitie als de beker. De Leeuw maakte in de eerste seizoenshelft heel wat fraaie goals. FCG TV zette ze op een rijtje en keek er met De Leeuw zelf, maar ook met aangevers als Mimoun Mahi en Maikel Kieftenbeld, op terug.
Uiteraard is er ook ruime aandacht voor het bekertreffen van woensdagavond tegen FC Volendam. In FC Groningen TV is een samenvatting te zien en reacties van de hoofdrolspelers.
FC Groningen TV wordt donderdag om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 3. De uitzending wordt vrijdag om 11.00 uur herhaald op kanaal 1.
Let op: de komende twee weken worden de Fox Sports Docs over FC Groningen diverse keren herhaald. Zo is de Doc ‘De Europese rentree van FC Groningen’ komende maandag te zien op Fox Sports kanaal 1 om 19.30 uur. Donderdag 25 december is deze op hetzelfde kanaal te zien om 9.00 uur. ‘De Helden van Groningen’ is zaterdag 27 december te zien op kanaal 1 om 16.30 uur. Op donderdag 1 januari wordt deze om 23.00 uur vertoond op Fox Sports kanaal 1. De eerstvolgende reguliere uitzending van FCG TV is te zien op donderdag 15 januari 2015 om 18.00 uur.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
