FC Groningen TV komt vanavond terug op de bekendmaking van deze week dat Ernest Faber volgend seizoen de nieuwe trainer wordt van FC Groningen. Daarnaast is er aandacht voor het officiële afscheid van Maikel Kieftenbeld en is er een vooruitblik op de uitwedstrijd tegen Excelsior.
Afgelopen dinsdag werd Ernest Faber in Euroborg gepresenteerd als de nieuwe trainer van FC Groningen. De oud-verdediger zal vanaf het komende seizoen werkzaam zijn in Groningen. In FCG TV komen Faber zelf en algemeen directeur Hans Nijland aan het woord over de komende samenwerking. Daarnaast kijkt Peter Hoekstra, trainer van FC Groningen A1, terug op de tijd dat hij ploeggenoot was van Faber bij PSV.
Maikel Kieftenbeld nam voorafgaande aan de thuiswedstrijd tegen PSV afscheid van de supporters van FC Groningen. Kieftenbeld had nog geen afscheid kunnen nemen omdat hij er nog geen tijd voor had kunnen vinden. De oud-aanvoerder was blij weer even terug te zijn in Groningen, maar liet ook weten het prima naar zijn zin te hebben in Engeland. Vooral scoren gaat hem ineens goed af.
Komende zaterdag gaat FC Groningen in Rotterdam op bezoek bij Excelsior. FCG TV blikt vooruit op de belangrijke ontmoeting met trainer Erwin van de Looi, Mimoun Mahi en Juninho Bacuna.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt vanavond om 22.45 uur herhaald op kanaal 3 en om 00.15 uur op kanaal 5. Zaterdag is FCG TV te zien om 15.15 uur op kanaal 1 en om 17.00 uur op kanaal 5.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
