In FC Groningen TV een nadere kennismaking met Stefano Magnasco en Rick Mulder, de trainer/coach van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur C1. Daarnaast is er een terugblik te zien op de 4 Mijl van Groningen, waar Kids United en medewerkers van FC Groningen zich van hun beste kant lieten zien.
Op 14 juni werd Stefano Magnasco, samen met keeper Marco Bizot, aan de pers gepresenteerd als de laatste aanwinst van de nieuwe selectie van trainer Robert Maaskant. De rechtsback kwam over van het Chilleense Universidad Catolica. De onlangs twintig jaar geworden Magnasco vertelt in FC Groningen TV over zijn keuze om te gaan voetballen in Europa, het verschil tussen Chili en Nederland, de gewenning in Groningen en het feit dat hij de laatste wedstrijden geen basisplaats had in het elftal van FC Groningen. De altijd goedlachse Chileen zit niet bij de pakken neer en is gemotiveerd om zo snel mogelijk terug te keren in de basiself van Maaskant. In actie Sinds het seizoen 2011/2012 is Rick Mulder de trainer/coach van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur C1. Mulder was eerder werkzaam in de jeugdopleiding van FC Emmen en was tussen 2009 en 2011 trainer van de dames van sc Heerenveen. Mulder was in het seizoen 2008/2009 stagiar bij RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur B1. In FCG TV zien we hem in actie tijdens de wedstrijd van de C1 tegen Almere City FC C1. Kids United Afgelopen weekend werd voor de 26ste keer de 4 Mijl van Groningen gelopen. FC Groningen was prominent aanwezig tijdens de loop van Haren naar Groningen. Zo vertrok Kids United zaterdagavond als eerste tijdens de speciale 4 Mijl 4 you. Kids United liet zich niet tegenhouden door de stromende regen en legde in FC Groningen poncho’s de ruim 6,6 kilometer af. Een dag later deden medewerkers van FC Groningen hetzelfde, al bleef het deze keer droog. FC Groningen directeur Hans Nijland finishte in een nette tijd van 32 minuten en vijf seconden. Uitzendingen FC Groningen TV wordt dinsdagavond om 18.00 uur en 20.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhaling is om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur te zien op EL 2. Woensdag wordt FCG TV om 08.25 uur en 13.10 uur herhaald op EL 1.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur waarna het tot 09.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
