Afgelopen zaterdag werd bij Alphense Boys de loting verricht van de landelijke bekertoernooien bij zowel de B- als de C-junioren.

De wedstrijden staan gepland in het weekeinde van 1 en 2 februari 2014.
In totaal zijn nog zes van de negen jeugdteams van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur actief in de diverse bekertoernooien. Zo spelen de A-junioren in de achtstefinales van de strijd om de Nike Cup een uitwedstrijd tegen AZ A1.
FC Groningen D1 is een van de negen teams die nog deelnemer is aan de Jeugdcup bij de D-pupillen. Morgen wordt de enige wedstrijd in de tussenronde geloot. De overige zeven teams zijn vrijgeloot en plaatsen zich dus sowieso voor de kwartfinales.
FC Groningen C2 en FC Groningen D2 zijn nog altijd actief in de districtsbeker. Voor FC Groningen B2, SC Cambuur C2 en SC Cambuur D1 is het bekeravontuur reeds ten einde.
