FC Groningen is vanavond bij de jaarlijkse Junior Club Dag in Sportcentrum Kardinge en de Essent voetbalclinic bij vv Corenos in Roodeschool. Daarnaast gaat FCG TV in op het succes van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur A1 en is er een voorbeschouwing op het belangrijke duel van komende zondag tegen Ajax.
Afgelopen woensdag waren ruim 800 leden van de Junior Club naar Sportcentrum Kardinge gekomen voor de jaarlijkse Junior Club Dag. Het werd een groot feest met een echte spelerspresentatie en voetbalwedstrijdjes tegen spelers van de FC. Uiteraard was Groby ook aanwezig in Kardinge. Hij ontpopte zich deze middag tot de nieuwe verslaggever van FC Groningen TV.
In Roodeschool waren leden van vv Corenos woensdagmiddag actief tijdens een voetbalclinic die FC Groningen organiseerde in samenwerking met hoofdsponsor Essent. Zo kreeg het meidenteam van vv Corenos training van Rasmus Lindgren, Emil Johansson en Tim Sparv. Die laatste kwam vlak voor het begin van de clinic met een verrassende mededeling.
RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur A1 sluit morgenmiddag de competitie af met een thuiswedstrijd tegen NAC Breda A1. Ongeacht de uitslag kan de A1 al terugkijken op een zeer geslaagd seizoen. Met de hoogste notering ooit in de Nike Eredivisie (tweede of derde) en een recordaantal punten mag iedereen binnen de A1 trots op zichzelf zijn. Trainer Paul Raveneau, keeper Wieger Sietsma en verdediger Hans Hateboer vertellen in FCG TV wat de A1 dit seizoen zo succesvol maakte.
Zondag sluit het eerste elftal de reguliere competitie af met de belangrijke thuiswedstrijd tegen Ajax. Als FC Groningen minimaal gelijkspeelt, dan is de FC zeker van deelname aan de play-offs om Europees voetbal. Voor Rasmus Lindgren is het de eerste wedstrijd tegen Ajax sinds hij in 2010 vertrok bij de Amsterdammers. Hij had deze week via sms contact met oud-ploeggenoten van Ajax en wist zo wat informatie te achterhalen dat wel eens van belang zou kunnen zijn komende zondag.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1 en 2. Daarna is FCG TV om 20.00 en 22.00 uur te zien op EL2. Zaterdag is de herhaling om 10.10 uur op EL1.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur, waarna het tot 9.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
