Met hun trainingskleding aan en hun voetbalschoenen in de hand. Zo verzamelden ruim 55 Junior Club leden, samen met hun ouders, bij het Spelershome van FC Groningen. Ze waren hier naar toe gekomen voor de Leer, Kijk en Speelmiddag die georganiseerd werd door drie selectiespelers van FC Groningen.
De middag begon met een Meet & Greet met Renze Fij, Hilal Ben Moussa en Atilay Batbay. Alle vragen die de leden hadden voor de spelers werden beantwoord.
Na het vragenrondje vertrokken de kinderen en spelers richting het trainingveld om aldaar de training van de 1e selectie te bekijken. Rond vier uur was het tijd voor de kinderen om zelf aan de slag te gaan. Gelukkig werden ze goed begeleidt door Renze, Hilal en Atilay. Hoewel de kinderen nog lang niet wilden stoppen, was het om vijf uur toch echt tijd om huiswaarts te keren.
