Vanavond is de laatste reguliere aflevering van FC Groningen TV van dit seizoen te zien. In de seizoenafsluiting is FCG TV bij de uitzwaaiwedstrijd tegen HS'88, schilderen Rasmus Lindgren en Tim Sparv in het Groninger Museum en beleeft Groby een avontuur als kok.
Gisteravond sloot FC Groningen het seizoen af met een uitzwaaiwedstrijd in Hoogezand tegen HS’88. De met 17-0 gewonnen wedstrijd was bijzonder voor aanvoerder Kees Kwakman omdat het zijn laatste was in het shirt van FC Groningen. Donderdagmiddag werd bekend dat hij en FC Groningen na twee seizoenen uit elkaar gaan. Kwakman bekroonde zijn laatste wedstrijd met een doelpunt en kreeg kort voor rust een publiekswissel van trainer Robert Maaskant. Voor Maaskant was het de laatste wedstrijd op de bank bij de FC. Hij nam afscheid met, zoals hij het zelf omschreef, ‘klinkende overwinning.’
Wie graag binnenkort een echte Sparv of Lindgren aan de muur wil, moet vanavond FC Groningen TV gaan kijken. Tim Sparv en Rasmus Lindgren ontpopten zich onlangs in het Groninger Museum als beeldend kunstenaar en lieten beide hun creativiteit de vrije loop bij het maken van een schilderij. Na een bezoek aan de tentoonstelling Nordic Art in het Groninger Museum in januari riepen beide dat zij ook wel een schilderij konden maken. Het Groninger Museum daagde ze meteen uit en vanavond is het resultaat te zien. Een resultaat waar binnenkort op geboden kan worden via een veiling voor het goede doel.
Groby, de mascotte van FC Groningen, beleefde dit seizoen als menig avontuur in FC Groningen TV. Zo hielp hij de materiaalmannen van FC Groningen bij het wassen van de wedstrijdkleding en assisteerde hij FC Groningen Horeca bij de vaatwas. Ondanks de goede wil van Groby ging er steeds wel iets verkeerd. Vanavond helpt Groby in Euroborg met koken in het restaurant. Hij doet weer erg zijn best, maar of dat ook goed afloopt?
Als seizoenafsluiter laat FCG TV de mooiste doelpunten van FC Groningen van het afgelopen seizoen de revue passeren. Zo zien we topscorer Michael de Leeuw beslissend zijn tegen PEC Zwolle en komt de fantastische knal van Maikel Kieftenbeld tegen NAC Breda nog een keer voorbij. Daarnaast zijn er fraaie doelpunten te zien van Mitchell Schet, Tim Sparv, Virgil van Dijk, Andraz Kirm, Género Zeefuik en David Texeira.
De laatste aflevering van FC Groningen TV van dit seizoen wordt in verband met met Jong Oranje – Jong Australië vanavond pas om 19.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. De herhaling van FCG TV is om 21.15 uur te zien op EL1 en om 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op EL2. Zaterdag is de herhaling om 9.40 uur op EL1.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur, waarna het tot 9.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
