FC Groningen TV kijkt vanavond (dinsdag) met Essent Man of the Match Filip Kostic, matchwinner Richairo Zivkovic, Timo Letschert en Nick van der Velden terug op de 2-1 overwinning op AZ. Daarnaast laten supporters weten wat zij van de competitiestart van FC Groningen vinden en is er een samenvatting te zien van Jong FC Groningen - Jong Heracles Almelo.
Afgelopen zondag won FC Groningen met 2-1 van AZ. FCG TV maakte voorafgaande aan de wedstrijd een rondje langs supporters van de FC en merkte dat er vooraf al vertrouwen was in een overwinning. Al was niet iedereen positief. Uiteindelijk kregen de supporters met het goede voorgevoel dus gelijk. Dat was vooral te danken aan de winnende treffer van invaller Richairo Zivkovic, die na afloop nuchter reageerde dat zijn kopbal er goed inging. De andere treffer kwam op naam van Niek Viergever van AZ, al verklaarde Timo Letschert aan FCG TV dat hij de bal ook wel degelijk aanraakte. Vader Na afloop werd Filip Kostic voor de tweede keer dit seizoen door de supporters verkozen tot Essent Man of the Match. De Serviër vertelde na het duel aan FCG TV dat hij extra gemotiveerd was omdat zijn vader voor het eerst in Euroborg op de tribune zat. Nick van der Velden was bij beide treffers betrokken al gaf hij voor de camera van FC Groningen TV vooral de credits aan zijn teamgenoten. Toch kwam hij er niet onderuit om toe te geven dat hij opnieuw een belangrijke rol had vertolkt. Jong FC Groningen Jong FC Groningen speelde maandagavond met 1-1 gelijk tegen Jong Heracles Almelo. Het leek erop dat de Beloften van trainer Paul Raveneau met 1-0 zouden winnen via een treffer van Lorenzo Burnet. Maar kort voor tijd kwam Heracles met een man minder alsnog langszij. Jong FC Groningen-aanvoerder Hans Hateboer vertelt in FCG TV wat er in de slotfase mis ging bij zijn ploeg. Uitzendingen FC Groningen TV wordt dinsdag om 17.00 uur uitgezonden op FOX Sports Eredivisie, kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 22.20 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5 van de voetbalzender. Woensdag is FCG TV te zien om 12.40 uur op kanaal 1 van FOX Sports Eredivisie.
