Kaarten voor het bekerduel tussen FC Groningen en Vitesse van vanavond, woensdag 28 januari, worden in hoog tempo verkocht. De laatste dagen worden er honderden tickets per dag besteld voor deze kraker in de kwartfinale van de KNVB-beker. Aanvang is 20.45 uur.
Afgelopen zondag werden er ruim 500 tickets aan de man gebracht en maandag 600. Dinsdagochtend 27 januari stond de teller voor de verkoop op de reguliere thuistribunes op 8.500, inclusief ruim 4.500 fans die hun eigen plek reserveerden in de voorverkoop voor seizoenkaarthouders.
De verwachting is de teller flink zal stijgen in de aanloop naar de bekerkraker. Bovendien zijn alle tickets voor meerjaarkaarten, genodigden en sponsors nog niet meegenomen in dit aantal. Kortom, Euroborg zal woensdagavond goed gevuld zijn.
