Het voetbalseizoen 2020/2021 zit erop voor FC Groningen. De Trots van het Noorden eindigde in de Eredivisie op een mooie zevende plaats en werd afgelopen woensdag door FC Utrecht uitgeschakeld in de halve finales van de play-offs. Daarmee kwam een einde aan een bijzonder vreemd seizoen, waarin de club haar supporters in het Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion enorm heeft gemist. FC Groningen organiseerde donderdag 20 mei een live Q&A, waarbij algemeen directeur Wouter Gudde, technisch directeur Mark-Jan Fledderus en hoofdtrainer Danny Buijs terugkeken op het seizoen en vragen van supporters en sponsors beantwoordden.
Tijdens een interactieve show van een klein uur konden supporters vragen stellen aan één van de gasten aan tafel. De online show werd live uitgezonden op het YouTube-kanaal van FC Groningen en is ook terug te kijken op dat kanaal of via de player onderaan dit bericht.
50 punten FC Groningen behaalde dit seizoen 50 punten en kwalificeerde zich hiermee voor de play-offs om Europees voetbal. Buijs en zijn manschappen voldeden hiermee aan de ambitieuze sportieve doelstelling, een knappe prestatie. Van de 34 competitiewedstrijden werden er veertien gewonnen en acht gelijkgespeeld. De zevende plaats op de eindrangschikking is de hoogste in drie seizoenen onder leiding van trainer Danny Buijs.
De presentatie van het programma was in handen van Frank Veenhof. Het technische gedeelte van de live Q&A werd verzorgd door sponsorrelatie United Visions.
