FC Groningen TV kijkt vandaag op Fox Sports Eredivisie vooruit op de seizoensopening van FC Groningen bij NEC Nijmegen. Daarnaast zien we hoe het er voor staat met Jong FC Groningen, vieren de medewerkers van NOVO het feit dat ze tien jaar werkzaam zijn bij FC Groningen en maken we kennis met het maatschappelijke team van de FC.
Medewerkers van NOVO, een organisatie die streeft naar zo goed mogelijke omstandigheden voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking, vierden deze zomer een feestje in de Noordlease Business Corner in Euroborg omdat ze alweer tien jaar werkzaam zijn bij FC Groningen. Tijdens het feest hoorde Jeroen van de NOVO dat hij een belangrijke rol heeft gespeeld bij de komst van Essent als hoofdsponsor van de FC.
Komend seizoen zullen in diverse uitingen te zien zijn dat FC Groningen in de Maatschappij en zorgverzekeraar Menzis zich weer gaan inzetten voor diverse maatschappelijke projecten. Om de uitingen kracht bij te zetten, vond er onlangs in Euroborg een speciale fotoshoot plaats met het maatschappelijke team van FC Groningen. Eén van de leden van het speciale team is FC Groningen reserveaanvoerder Maikel Kieftenbeld.
Zaterdagavond opent FC Groningen het seizoen met een uitwedstrijd tegen NEC Nijmegen. Het is een speciale wedstrijd voor aanwinst Nick van der Velden want hij speelde de afgelopen twee jaar in het shirt van NEC. FCG TV kijkt samen met hem vooruit naar het weerzien met zijn oude ploeg. Ook aanvoerder Rasmus Lindgren komt aan het woord. Hij kijkt met veel vertrouwen uit naar de seizoensouverture.
Komende mandag gaat ook het nieuwe seizoen van Jong FC Groningen van start. De ploeg van trainer Paul Raveneau opent met een thuiswedstrijd op sportpark Corpus den Hoorn tegen Jong Fortuna Sittard. Raveneau zag zijn ploeg afgelopen woensdag een goede tweede helft spelen tijdens een oefenduel met Jong AZ en hoopt dat de beloften van de FC dat mee kunnen nemen naar komende maandagavond.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur uitgezonden op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports. De herhaling is te zien om 18.00 uur en 22.00 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op kanaal 5 van Fox Sports Eredivisie.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de stadszender van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
