In FC Groningen TV is vanavond te zien hoe FC Groningen mascotte Groby het ervan afbrengt tijdens de vierde Dutch Open Mascotte Run. Daarnaast is DJ Arnoud, de Party DJ van Nederland van 2011 en 2012, te gast bij Maikel Kieftenbeld en Leandro Bacuna in de kleedkamer van FC Groningen en wordt er vooruitgeblikt naar het duel tegen PSV met Marco Bizot en Oluwafemi Ajilore.
Afgelopen zaterdag werd bij het Hoornse Meer in Groningen voor de vierde keer de Dutch Open Mascotte Run georganiseerd. Uiteraard was Groby, de mascotte van FC Groningen, een van de deelnemers. Hij moest het in de spannende strijd opnemen tegen onder andere titelverdediger Sparta Piet, Zwolfje van PEC Zwolle en Storky van ADO Den Haag. Groby kreeg steun van Michael de Leeuw die als speciale gast, samen met oud-SC Veendam-verdediger Angelo Cijntje, het startschot loste.
Elk team in de Eredivisie heeft zijn eigen DJ. Bij FC Groningen verzorgt Luciano de Silva de muziek in de kleedkamer, maar niet iedereen binnen de ploeg is even tevreden met de muziekkeuze van de Braziliaanse keeper. Daarom was DJ Arnoud, de Party DJ van Nederland in 2011 en 2012, onlangs te gast in de kleedkamer om te horen van Maikel Kieftenbeld en Leandro Bacuna welke muziek bij FC Groningen wordt gedraaid en hoe daar binnen de spelersgroep over wordt gedacht.
Zaterdagavond gaat FC Groningen in Eindhoven op bezoek bij PSV. FC Groningen wist een uitwedstrijd tegen PSV nog nooit te winnen. Dus vinden keeper Marco Bizot en middenvelder Oluwafemi Ajilore dat het wel eens tijd wordt voor een mooi resultaat in Eindhoven. Al weten ze ook dat het nog moeilijk genoeg wordt tegen PSV omdat de Eindhovenaren nog niet zijn uitgeschakeld voor de titel.
Voor Marcel Groninger kan het een mooi weekend worden. Groninger volgt een trainersstage bij FC Groningen en is in die hoedanigheid aanwezig bij het duel tegen PSV in Eindhoven. De volgende dag zit hij op de bank bij zijn eigen ploeg Be Quick 1887 dat de topper van de Hoofdklasse C speelt tegen MSC in Meppel. Bij winst zet Be Quick een belangrijke stap richting de titel en kan Groninger met opgeheven hoofd volgend seizoen gaan beginnen aan zijn nieuwe taak als assistent-trainer van FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. Daarna is FCG TV om 23.10 uur te zien op EL 2. Zaterdag is de herhaling om 8.35 uur op EL1 en 16.40 uur op EL1, voorafgaand aan PSV – FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur, waarna het tot 9.00 uur in op zondagochtend wordt herhaald.
