De kaarten voor de reguliere tribunes voor FC Groningen - Ajax zijn volledig uitverkocht. Dit betekent dat de kassa's vanmiddag gesloten zullen blijven. Het stadion opent om 13.00 uur. Er zijn nog wel enkele arrangementen beschikbaar op sponsortribunes.
Voorafgaand aan de wedstrijd FC Groningen – Ajax wordt er bij Ingang 1 een extra mogelijkheid geboden om voor het betreden van het stadion munten te kopen. Direct naast Ingang 1, bij entree van de voormalig Fanshop zal er voor de wedstrijd een extra muntverkooppunt in gebruik genomen worden. Deze extra mogelijkheid wordt als test geboden om lange wachtrijen te voorkomen in het stadion. Hier kunnen uitsluitend munten voor de omloop gekocht worden. De verkoop is van 13.00 tot 14.30 uur.
Afscheid van Roelie Grit Komende maand neemt Roelie Grit (64) na een dienstverband van maar liefst dertig jaar afscheid van FC Groningen. Roelie was in de jaren tachtig het gezicht en de stem van de receptie van de club, die toen nog in het Stadion Oosterpark gevestigd was. Acht jaar geleden verhuisde Roelie mee van de Zaagmuldersweg in de Oosterparkwijk naar de Boumaboulevard op het Europapark. De Supportersbalie verhuisde op haar beurt vorige zomer van het stadion naar de FanCorner op de hoek van het Alfa-college. Voorafgaand aan de wedstrijd tegen Ajax zal zij op het hoofdveld in het zonnetje worden gezet.
