FC Groningen TV is vandaag bij de Junior Club Dag en de finale van de FC Groningen Buurt Battle. Daarnaast is FCG TV aanwezig bij een training van de A1. Die ploeg kreeg begin deze week te horen dat hun teamgenoot Reinier de Groene plotseling was overleden.
Woensdag waren zo’n duizend leden met ouders aanwezig bij de jaarlijkse Junior Club Dag. Elf van de leden waren VIP In Sportcentrum Kardinge en mochten met spelers van FC Groningen hand in hand de hal betreden. FCG TV was bij de kennismaking tussen het VIP-team en de spelers van FC Groningen en zag dat het betreden van een volle hal met Nick van der Velden en Maikel Kieftenbeld nog best spannend is.
Spelers van FC Groningen waren woensdag ook aanwezig bij de finale van de FC Groningen Buurt Battle. De deelnemende teams uit diverse wijken uit Groningen, Hoogezand en Assen maakten er weer een middag van waarin het plezier voorop stond. De teams van Marco Bizot en Giliano Wijnaldum gingen voor de overwinning en dat leverde een mooie eindstrijd op.
Afgelopen maandagavond werd FC Groningen A1 opgeschrikt door het vreselijke nieuws van het plotse overlijden van teamgenoot Reinier de Groene. FCG TV was donderdagochtend bij de training van A1 en sprak hoofd-opleidingen Peter Jeltema, trainer Peter Hoekstra en de spelers Liban Abdulahi en Wieger Sietsma die vertellen hoe zij de afgelopen dagen hebben beleefd.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.10, 18.10 uur en 23.00 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 23.35 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
