De laatste editie van het FC Groningen Journaal in het seizoen 2016/2017 is verschenen. De editie van juni 2017 is in een oplage van ruim 260.000 exemplaren verspreid in Stad en Ommeland en is nu ook online te lezen.
De vierde editie van de ‘FC-krant’ van deze voetbaljaargang bevat 56 pagina’s en staat vooral in het teken van de afronding van het seizoen 2016/2017. Op de cover staat Arjen Robben die in mei het startsein gaf voor de bouw van het TopsportZorgCentrum, dat medio 2018 zal worden opgeleverd.
Ook zijn interviews te lezen met Etiënne Reijnen, Bryan Linssen, aanvoerder Sergio Padt, Essent Speler van het Jaar Mimoun Mahi en de afscheid nemende Stefan van der Lei, Peter Van de Vlag, Tom Hiariej, Sierd van den Berg en Cynthia Feddema.
Een artikel gaat over de piano spelende voetballers Tom Hiariej en Jesper Drost. Aandacht voor de historie is er in de vorm van een interview met oud-doelman Jeroen Lambers en de opening van de FC Groningen Experience met Jan van Dijk en Henny Meijer. Ook worden de nieuwe aanwinsten Django Warmerman en Mike te Wierik voorgesteld.
