In FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond teruggekeken op de 1-1 tegen De Graafschap van afgelopen vrijdag en vooruitgekeken naar het thuisduel van morgenavond tegen NAC Breda. De uitzending begint vanavond om 17.55 uur op Eredivisie Live 1.
Met doelpuntmaker Matias Jones blikt FCG TV kort terug op de puntendeling tegen De Graafschap. Volgens Jones was winst mogelijk geweest als FC Groningen vooral voor rust de kansen had benut. De Uruguayaan was blij met zijn eerste doelpunt voor de FC maar teleurgesteld over het uiteindelijke resultaat.
Maikel Kieftenbeld werd na de wedstrijd tegen De Graafschap door de FC Groningen supporters verkozen tot Essent Man of the Match. Kieftenbeld liet doelpuntmaker Matias Jones en Petter Andersson in de uitverkiezing achter zich. Kieftenbeld is dankzij de verkiezing ook Essent Speler van het jaar geworden. De middenvelder van de FC bleef in het eindklassement David Texeira en Dusan Tadic voor.
Tegen NAC Breda hoopt FC Groningen met een goed gevoel het seizoen wat thuiswedstrijden betreft goed af te sluiten. NAC is de laatste tijd een geduchte tegenstander buitenshuis. Maar tegen De Graafschap liet FC Groningen voor rust zien dat het nog steds over voldoende kwaliteit beschikt. Volgens FC Groningen aanvoerder Petter Andersson wordt het tegen NAC Breda zaak de kansen om te gaan zetten in doelpunten. Voor Dusan Tadic wordt het duel tegen de ploeg uit Breda een bijzondere. Hij speelt morgenavond voor het laatst in Euroborg in het groen-wit.
FC Groningen speelde tot nu toe 27 keer thuis tegen NAC Breda. Van die 27 duels won de FC er 13 waaronder in 1995, 2002, 2007, 2009 en 2010. In FCG TV is vanavond te zien hoe FC Groningen het er eerder winnend afbracht tegen NAC dankzij doelpunten van Mariano Bombarda, Harris Huizingh, Arjen Robben, Erik Nevland, Koen van de Laak en Andreas Granqvist.
FC Groningen houdt regelmatig een borrel op locatie. Vorige week donderdag was FC Groningen te gast bij NOVO. NOVO helpt mensen met een verstandelijke beperking aan werk. Zo is is groep cliënten van NOVO werkzaam voor FC Groningen en bij de buren van Jumbo Euroborg. In FCG TV maken we vanavond kennis met NOVO en zien we wat zij als organisatie betekent voor FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.55 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhaling is te zien op Eredivisie Live 2 om 18.50 uur, 22.00 uur en 0.00 uur. Woensdag wordt FC Groningen TV om 08.30 uur en 13.15 uur herhaald op EL 1.
