Vanavond in FC Groningen TV wordt Emil Johansson in het zonnetje gezet. Molde FK, de vorige club van Johansson, werd afgelopen zondag kampioen van Noorwegen. Johansson had een aandeel in de verrassende titel omdat hij dit seizoen nog negen wedstrijden voor de ploeg van coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speelde.
Afgelopen zondag was wielrenner Bauke Mollema te gast bij FC Groningen – Feyenoord. De Groninger Mollema is fan van Feyenoord en had in Euroborg dus geen prettige middag.
In het kader van 40 jaar FC Groningen kijkt Johan de Kock terug op de Europese wedstrijden van FC Groningen in het seizoen 1986/1987. De Kock speelde drie seizoenen voor FC Groningen en scoorde in november 1986 in de Europese thuiswedstrijd tegen het Portugese Vitoria Guimarães.
FC Groningen groundsman Peter Smit buigt zich in deze aflevering van FCG TV weer over het gras van Euroborg. Smit leert ons dat gras meer is dan alleen maar een groen sprietje in de wei. Het is zelfs enorm belangrijk voor onze voeding.
Zaterdagavond gaat FC Groningen op bezoek bij RKC Waalwijk. Met keeper Brian van Loo en topscorer Leandro Bacuna duiken we in de statistiek van RKC-FC Groningen en komen we te weten dat die statistiek negatief uitvalt voor de Groningers.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.55 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. De herhalingen op Eredivisie Live 2 zijn om 22.55 en 00.55 uur. FCG TV wordt zaterdag om 19.05 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 3, voorafgaande aan RKC Waalwijk – FC Groningen.
