Op Corpus den Hoorn komen zaterdag drie jeugdteams van FC Groningen/Cambuur in actie. Het programma begint om half elf.
Wedstrijd van de Week: FC Groningen/Cambuur C1 v ADO Den Haag C1 Na het verlies van vorige week in de topwedstrijd bij FC Utrecht C1 is de ploeg van trainer Rick Mulder de ongeslagen positie kwijtgeraakt. De onder-15 ploeg van de RVO staat nu op de vierde plaats terwijl Ajax C1 en FC Utrecht C1 de ranglijst in de Eerste Divisie A aanvoeren met een 100% score. Het verlies in de Domstad kwam sneu tot stand aangezien de winnende treffer van de thuisploeg pas in de slotminuut werd gescoord. Tegenstander ADO Den Haag C1 leed vorig weekeinde de tweede nederlaag in successie. Opmerkelijk was dat op eigen veld de duels tegen Heerenveen/Emmen C1 en Vitesse/AGOVV C1 beide met 3-4 werden verloren. Saillant detail is ook dat in competitieverband de C1-teams van FC Groningen en Den Haag elkaar pas eenmaal eerder troffen. Dat was exact tien seizoenen geleden. Op Corpus den Hoorn trok groenwit toen met 2-1 aan het langste eind. Overige wedstrijden: FCG A1 hoopt zich op De Toekomst te plaatsen voor de knockoutfase van de Nike Cup. Uit de eerdere twee duels pakte de ploeg slechts een punt. Winst is noodzakelijk, maar voor kwalificatie is men sowieso afhankelijk van andere resultaten. FCG B1 is na de winst van vorige week op De Graafschap B1 alleen koploper. Tegenstander FC Volendam B1 staat onderin de middenmoot. In Leeuwarden speelt FCG C3 een RVO-duel tegen FCG/Cambuur C2. Beide teams kennen met elk een winstpartij een bescheiden start van de competitie. FCG D1 hoopt zich te herstellen na de met name dramatische tweede helft in Hengelo tegen Twente. Opponent Union D1 pakte in eigen huis de eerste drie punten van het seizoen. FCG D3 behield ook tegen Emmen D1 de ongeslagen status. De ploeg van trainer Talsma neemt het in Sneek op tegen het nog puntloze ONS D1.
