FC Groningen TV kijkt vanavond terug op het duel tegen Roda JC met Jonas Ivens en Nicklas Pedersen. Beiden geven aan dat de wil er zondag wel was maar dat het vooral ontbrak aan daadkracht. De uitzending begint om 18.00 uur op Eredivisie Live 1.
Eén moment van onachtzaamheid achterin leverde het enige doelpunt van de wedstrijd op en een 1-0 nederlaag voor FC Groningen. Voor Pedersen was het zijn eerste duel na twee wedstrijden schorsing. Pedersen gaf onlangs een interview aan het Dagblad van het Noorden. Een interview dat bij sommige supporters niet zo positief werd ontvangen. Pedersen legt uit hoe zijn uitspraken werkelijk bedoeld waren en dat hij zich voor de volle honderd procent inzet voor FC Groningen.
Ondanks de nederlagen tegen ADO Den Haag en Roda JC was de afgelopen week een bijzondere voor aanvaller Henk Bos. Tegen ADO maakte Bos zijn debuut in de basis, drie dagen later mocht de kleine Groninger tegen Roda weer beginnen vanaf de aftrap. Een mooi moment voor Bos omdat hij de gehele jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen heeft doorlopen.
FC Groningen aanvoerder Petter Andersson werd na FC Groningen – Roda JC door de supporters verkozen tot Essent Man of the Match. Andersson kreeg 39% van de uitgebrachte stemmen. Voor de Zweed was het de tweede keer op rij dat hij werd uitgeroepen tot Man of the Match. Hetzelfde overkwam hem na het thuisduel tegen sc Heerenveen. Toen was hij niet tevreden over zijn eerste helft. Dat ging tegen Roda JC beter al was Andersson ook nu nog niet geheel content.
Jong FC Groningen blijft het goed doen in de eredivisie voor beloften. Gisteravond werd Jong FC Utrecht met 2-1 verslagen. Voor de Beloften scoorden Hilal Ben-Moussa en David Texeira. Keeper Brian van Loo stopte in de tweede helft een strafschop. Jong FC Groningen staat zesde in de Beloften Eredivisie met 38 punten uit 23 wedstrijden. Het verschil met nummer twee Jong PSV is maar drie punten. Vanavond in FCG TV is een samenvatting te zien van het duel tussen Jong FC Groningen en Jong FC Utrecht.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhaling is te zien op Eredivisie Live 2 om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur. Woensdag wordt FC Groningen TV om 08.45 uur en 13.25 uur herhaald op EL 1.
