Komende zaterdag, 31 juli, speelt FC Groningen een oefenwedstrijd bij het Duitse Rot-Weiss Oberhausen. Het duel begint om 16.00 uur. De toegang bedraagt slechts 5 euro.
De wedstrijd tussen FC Groningen en de ploeg die vorig seizoen als veertiende eindigde in de Tweede Bundesliga wordt gespeeld in het kader van de Open Dag van de Duitse club. Om 13.30 uur begint die open dag op het terrein rond het Niederrein Stadion.
Om 15.00 uur openen de poorten van het stadion zelf en om 16.00 uur is de aftrap. Voor de FC-supporters is het gastenvak geopend, schuin achter het doel. Bij een aparte kassa worden tickets verkocht voor 5 euro per stuk. Meegebrachte spandoeken zullen door medewerkers van Rot-Weiss Oberhausen worden opgehangen.
Het Niederrein Stadion is gelegen aan de Lindnerstrasse 2 te Oberhausen. Parkeren bij het stadion is gratis. Het treinstation van Oberhausen ligt op zo’n drie kilometer afstand van het stadion.
