FC Groningen heeft gisteren en vandaag enkele honderden reacties gekregen van met name ongeruste FC-supporters. De club stelt alles in het werk iedereen van een persoonlijke reactie te voorzien.
Het overgrote deel van de e-mails betreft geschrokken fans, die angstige momenten hebben gehad tijdens de wedstrijd FC Groningen – Feyenoord. Ook zijn er veel mensen, die boos zijn over de voorvallen en zich afvragen hoe de ongeregeldheden hebben kunnen ontstaan. De supporters met kaarten op de Piet Fransen Tribune, die hebben gereageerd, kunnen allemaal een persoonlijk antwoord verwachten. Verwondingen Ook heeft de club getracht enkele personen met lichte verwondingen telefonisch te benaderen. Deze fans meldden zich zondagmiddag bij de EHBO en maken het overigens een dag na de wedstrijd allemaal weer goed.
Zoals zondagavond al op deze website aangekondigd, is FC Groningen inmiddels een onderzoek opgestart naar de schermutselingen. Vanuit de media heeft de club ook diverse vragen gekregen. Algemeen directeur Hans Nijland heeft zijn agenda voor vandaag aangepast om alle e-mails persoonlijk te kunnen beantwoord en de diverse media te woord te staan over de meer dan vervelende zondagmiddag in Euroborg.
Dinsdagmiddag zullen directie en management in de wekelijkse online nieuwsbrief op deze website nog een nadere toelichting geven op de stand van zaken.
