Robby Holder en Jesse Renken lopen deze week stage bij SC Veendam. De aanvaller en verdediger van Jong FC Groningen oriënteren zich in Oost-Groningen op een mogelijke overgang na de winterstop of wellicht al eerder.
Holder is met een afwezigheid van één seizoen sinds 2006 actief binnen de jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen. Renken kwam in 2005 binnen in de D-pupillen van de FC. Beide spelers trainen deze week mee in Veendam en komen in aanmerking uitgeleend te worden.
Uitwisselen Door het samenwerkingsverband tussen FC Groningen, SC Veendam en SC Cambuur is het mogelijk dat spelers met een amateurovereenkomst tussentijds worden uitgewisseld tussen de eerste selecties. Op het moment dat zij speelminuten maken in een officiële wedstrijd van het eerste elftal, zijn ze tot de volgende transferperiode gebonden aan dat team. Tot die tijd kunnen ze wisselen van club. In alle gevallen zijn spelers gerechtigd te spelen in Jong FC Groningen.
Doelman Voorbeeld hiervan is doelman Joey Potveer, die afgelopen weekend deel uitmaakte van de selectie van SC Veendam. Hij zat op de bank in het thuisduel met FC Den Bosch. De situatie van de doelmannen bij de Oost-Groningers wordt van dag tot dag bekeken. Of Potveer ook komende vrijdag met Veendam afreist naar Go Ahead Eagles, is nog niet bekend.
