FC Groningen TV kijkt samen met Danny Hoesen vooruit naar de kraker van komende zondag tegen Ajax. Hoesen kwam deze zomer over van de Amsterdammers en komt dus al snel in actie tegen zijn vorige werkgever. Daarnaast is FCG TV bij de eerste thuiswedstrijd van Jong FC Groningen/Cambuur van dit seizoen, tegen Jong Almere City FC. Speciale aandacht tijdens dat duel gaat uit naar Paul Raveneau die voor de laatste keer als trainer van de beloften op de bank zit. Hij is per 1 september hoofd jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen.
Op 28 mei jongstleden werd Danny Hoesen in Euroborg gepresenteerd als de eerste aanwinst van FC Groningen voor het seizoen 2014/2015. Hoesen kwam over van Ajax, de tegenstander van FC Groningen van komende zondag. FC Groningen TV kijkt met Hoesen vooruit naar het treffen met de Amsterdammers en heeft het met de spits over de druk van een aanvaller, scoren in Euroborg en de mogelijkheden met FC Groningen.
Dinsdagavond speelde Jong FC Groningen de eerste thuiswedstrijd van dit seizoen. Tegenstander was Jong Almere City FC dat met 5-0 werd verslagen, een stand die bij rust al was bereikt. In FCG TV is een samenvatting van het duel en een gesprek met Henk Bos te zien. Bos is op de weg terug na een zware knieblessure die hij ruim een jaar geleden opliep. De aanvaller speelde de eerste helft mee met de beloften van de FC.
Het duel van Jong FC Groningen tegen Jong Almere City FC was de laatste wedstrijd van Paul Raveneau als trainer van de beloften van de FC. Raveneau begint 1 september aan zijn nieuwe functie bij FC Groningen: hoofd jeugdopleiding. FCG TV volgde Raveneau tijdens zijn laatste wedstrijd op de bank en sprak met hem over zijn nieuwe werkzaamheden en de keuze voor de functie van hoofd jeugdopleiding.
FC Groningen TV wordt donderdag om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie Kanaal 1. De herhaling is donderdag om 23.20 uur te zien op kanaal 1. Vrijdag wordt FCG TV herhaald om 11.00 uur op kanaal 1.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15:30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV, Ziggo kanaal 40. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
