Vanavond speelt FC Groningen om 20.00 uur in Rotterdam tegen Excelsior. Gisterochtend was in Haren de laatste training voor het belangrijke duel. In het zonnetje werd op het kunstgras van VV Haren fanatiek getraind. Via FC Groningen TV op Eredivisie Live 2 is vanavond om 17.55 uur een voorbeschouwing te zien op het cruciale uitduel.
Trainer Pieter Huistra constateerde deze week dat het vertrouwen langzaam weer terug is gekeerd in de ploeg. Vanavond moet de FC laten zien wat dat oplevert, overigens wel zonder de steun van de supporters die de wedstrijd boycotten vanwege de verplichte buscombi. Daarom gaan medewerkers van FC Groningen vanavond in het uitvak staan en dat doen ze onder andere met een heel bijzonder spandoek, gemaakt door Fc Groningen supporter Wiebe Buist.
In FC Groningen TV zien we vanavond Tom Hiariej en Leandro Bacuna in actie in een elektrische auto. Vorige week donderdag werd in de showroom van Autobedrijf Tulp in Sappemeer Mobilectra geopend, een onderneming die zich volledig richt op elektrisch vervoer. Hans Nijland, algemeen directeur van FC Groningen, opende het bedrijf van ondernemer Theo Wolthuis door op een elektrische scooter de showroom binnen te scheuren. Daarna ondervonden Hiariej en Bacuna hoe geruisloos maar snel een elektrische auto kan rijden.
Deze week kreeg Suk Hyun-Jun in Euroborg bezoek van drie Zuid-Koreaanse studentes. Hayeon Jang, Minjee Kang en Geun Youn Park uit Seoul studeren een jaar lang Economie en Bedrijfskunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In het kader van een uitwisselingsproject met universiteiten in Seoul krijgen ze de kans Suk te interviewen die in hun thuisland Zuid-Korea enorm populair is. In deel 1 van de ontmoeting laat Suk zijn landgenotes een deel van Euroborg zien waaronder de kleedkamer van FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV is vanavond om 17.55 uur te zien op Eredivisie Live 2. Het duel tussen Excelsior en FC Groningen is daarna vanaf 19.30 te zien op Eredivisie Live 1. FC Groningen TV wordt zondag herhaald om 10.40 uur op EL1.
