Zondag 8 augustus werd het voetbalseizoen 2010 -2011 geopend met de wedstrijd tegen Ajax. Het werd een hele spannende wedstrijd, want Ajax kwam voor te staan met 2-0!
Gelukkig maakten Tim Matavz en Nicolas Pedersen hier verandering in door de 2-1 en de 2-2 te maken. Na 90 minuten stond deze stand nog steeds op het scorebord en was het eerste punt van het seizoen een feit!
Natuurlijk deden de leden van de Junior Club en Green White Bengels mee aan de wedstrijdactiviteiten. Deze leden deden mee: Line-up Marvin Hoeksema, Sergio Telussa, Leon Buiter, Emiel Houwen, Jonna F. Florén Bothe-Sijbelts, Elano Bakker, Daniek Buiter, Remko Feij, Jordy Schuur, Tim Maneschijn en Thyrza Mulder. Referee-escort Nick Kwast, Mike Siersema en Remco Verschuren. Shoot-out Silver Roossien, Tiemen Pestman, Max Enting, Armando Flokstra en Jeffrey Boonstra. Tiemen Pestman en Jeffrey Boonstra hebben zich geplaatst voor de kwart finale later dit seizoen.
