FC Groningen TV kijkt alvast vooruit naar de onthulling komende zaterdag van het beeld van Tonny van Leeuwen bij Euroborg. Daarnaast is er een voorbeschouwing op het duel van zondag tegen Excelsior en is er een reportage te zien van Hans Hateboer bij het Nederlands Beloftenelftal.
De Supportersvereniging FC Groningen bestaat 30 jaar. Om dat te vieren komt de Supportersvereniging komende zaterdagmiddag met een bijzonder cadeau: een levensgroot beeld van clubicoon Tonny van Leeuwen bij Euroborg. In FCG TV vertelt John Schurer, voorzitter van de supportersvereniging, waarom voor het beeld van Van Leeuwen is gekozen, dat onthult zal worden door Piet Fransen, een ander clubicoon van FC Groningen.
Afgelopen week verbleef Hans Hateboer met de selectie van het Nederlands Beloftenelftal in Friesland waar Oranje deelnam aan een vierlandentoernooi met verder Engeland, Duitsland en Turkije als deelnemende landen. FCG TV ging afgelopen maandag naar Harkema waar Nederland het toernooi afsloot met een wedstrijd tegen Duitsland en volgde daar de verrichtingen van Hateboer in het shirt van Oranje.
Zondag vervolgt FC Groningen de competitie met een thuiswedstrijd tegen Excelsior. FCG TV kijkt alvast vooruit naar het duel met trainer Erwin van de Looi. Hij gaat in op de strijdwijze waarmee FC Groningen zondag voor de dag wil komen en laat weten hoe het is met het herstel van de geblesseerde spelers zoals Mimoun Mahi die in FCG TV zelf vertelt hoe het nu met hem gaat. Daarnaast is er een korte kennismaking met de Sloveen Taulant Kadrija die deze week stage loopt bij de beloften van FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV wordt donderdag om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op FOX Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. De herhaling is te zien om 19.00 uur op kanaal 3.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV, Ziggo kanaal 40. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
