FC Groningen TV toont vandaag de uitreiking van het eerste exemplaar van het boek over Arjen Robben en de plaatsing van het eerste zonnepaneel op het dak van Euroborg. Daarnaast zijn er beelden te zien van het oefenduel van Jong FC Groningen tegen Jong AZ en is er een voorbeschouwing op het duel van zaterdag tegen RKC Waalwijk.
Donderdagochtend werd Arjen Robben in Bedum verrast met het eerste exemplaar van het boek dat werd geschreven door leerlingen van veertien basisscholen uit de provincie Groningen en vertelt hoe Robben de Champions League gaat winnen. FCG TV was aanwezig bij de bijzondere uitreiking van het eerste exemplaar. Samen met kinderboekenschrijver Fred Diks gaf Robben ook meteen het startsein voor het tweede boek: Arjen Robben en het magische schot in Rio. In totaal zullen er drie boeken over Robben verschijnen.
Een ander mooie gebeurtenis vond afgelopen dinsdag plaats: de plaatsing van het eerste zonnepaneel op het dak van Euroborg. FCG TV mocht mee het dak op en kreeg zo een heel andere kijk op het stadion. Voor Robbert Klaver, commercieel directeur van FC Groningen, en Matthijs Olieman van de stichting 1miljoenwatt was het een bijzonder moment. Medio 2013 gingen ze een samenwerking met elkaar aan om ervoor te zorgen dat Euroborg het eerste stadion wordt met een eigen zonnecentrale. Afgelopen dinsdag was het dan zover.
Dinsdagavond oefende Jong FC Groningen op het veld van FC Lewenborg tegen Jong AZ. Het werd voor de beloften van de FC geen positieve oefening om op terug te kijken want de ploeg van trainer Paul Raveneau verloor met 2-0. Ondanks dat Jong FC Groningen voldoende kansen kreeg, wist het tegen Jong AZ niet te scoren. En dus was aanvaller Arjen Hagenauw na afloop zeer ontevreden over zijn eigen prestatie en het spel van zijn team.
Zaterdagavond hervat FC Groningen de competitie met een uitwedstrijd tegen RKC Waalwijk. Op 3 december 2000 debuteerde Arjen Robben voor FC Groningen in Waalwijk. Zaterdagavond gaat met Hans Hateboer mogelijk opnieuw een speler uit de eigen jeugdopleiding zijn debuut maken voor de FC in Waalwijk. Stefano Magnasco is geschorst en dus is de rechtsbackpositie tegen RKC vacant. FCG TV blikt vooruit met Hateboer en test zijn kennis over eerdere debutanten in Waalwijk.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.30 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 21.55 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5. Morgen is FCG TV te zien om 16.15 uur op kanaal 1 en om 19.05 uur op kanaal 5, voorafgaande aan RKC Waalwijk – FC Groningen.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
