FC Groningen TV was donderdagavond bij het debuut van FC Groningen A1 spits Arjen Hagenauw in Oranje onder 19. Vanavond is een uitgebreide reportage van te zien van het duel waarin hij scoorde, maar ook geblesseerd het veld moest verlaten. Tevens is een preview te zien van een special over oud-teammanager Theo Huizinga die vorig seizoen stopte bij FC Groningen.
Arjen Hagenauw, spits van FC Groningen A1, maakt een stormachtige ontwikkeling door. Twee jaar geleden maakte hij de overstap van VV Roden naar RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur, donderdagavond speelde hij voor het eerst voor Oranje onder-19 tegen Tsjechië en wist hij zelfs te scoren. FCG TV ging naar Werkendam om, in bijzijn van zijn vader Henk, de verzorger van het eerste elftal van FC Groningen, aanwezig te zijn bij de bijzondere avond van Arjen. De avond eindigde enigszins in mineur omdat Hagenauw met een hamstringblessure het veld voortijdig moest verlaten. Maar wat natuurlijk zal blijven hangen zijn de eerste mooie minuten in het shirt van het Nederlands elftal.
Zaterdag wordt om 15.20 uur op Eredivisie Live 1 een bijna vijftig minuten durende special uitgezonden over Theo Huizinga, de oud-teammanager van FC Groningen. FC Groningen TV volgde Huizinga tijdens zijn laatste seizoen 2012/2013 van nabij. Zo zien we hem in actie tijdens de uitwedstrijd tegen Ajax en krijgen we een uniek inkijkje in wat er tijdens de wedstrijd op de spelersbank gebeurt. Daarnaast brengt Huizinga een bijzonder bezoek aan de vulkaan El Teide tijdens het trainingskamp, begin 2012, op Tenerife.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. Daarna is FCG TV om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op EL 2. Zaterdag is de herhaling om 8.05 uur en zondag om 8.40 uur op EL 1.
De special Theo Huizinga: ‘t Is mooi geweest, is zaterdag om 15.20 uur te zien op Eredivisie Live 1. De special wordt zaterdagnacht om 0.05 uur en zondag om 14.05 uur en 23.35 uur herhaald op EL 1.
De reguliere uitzending van FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur, waarna het tot 09.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
