FC Groningen speelt vanavond de negende wedstrijd van de voorbereiding. Op het hoofdveld van Rolder Boys is het Spaanse Osasuna de negende tegenstander. Het duel begint om 19.00 uur.
Na oefenduels tegen vier amateurclubs, FC Volendam, FC Emmen en Hamburger SV (Bundesliga) en Sunderland (Premier League), speelt de ploeg van trainer Robert Maaskant opnieuw tegen een ploeg uit één van de drie sterkste competities van Europa: Osasuna uit de Spaanse Primera Division.
De Spaanse ploeg verblijft op trainingskamp in Nederland en oefende eerder in de week tegen VVV-Venlo en De Graafschap. Beide duels eindigden in een gelijkspel. Het duel van vanavond staat onder leiding van scheidsrechter Makkelie.
Volwassenen betalen 9 euro bij de kassa’s die vanaf 18.00 uur geopend zijn. Kinderen tot en met twaalf jaar betalen 5 euro.
