De KNVB heeft de data voor de eerste drie speelronden na de winterstop definitief vastgesteld. Daardoor is het nu zeker dat FC Groningen – FC Utrecht op zondag 20 januari 2013 zal worden gespeeld. De aanvangstijd wordt uiterlijk op vrijdag 14 december kenbaar gemaakt.
Op zondag 27 januari 2013 zal de uitwedstrijd bij NEC worden gespeeld. Op zaterdag 2 februari staat de uitwedstrijd tegen AZ op het programma. Overigens worden in de week tussen deze beide uitwedstrijden de vier wedstrijden in de kwartfinale van het KNVB-bekertoernooi afgewerkt.
Uiterlijk vrijdag 14 december zal de KNVB het programma voor de 22ste tot en met de 32ste speelronde definitief vaststellen. De oorspronkelijke data kunnen worden gewijzigd in verband met de Europese verplichtingen van Ajax, PSV en/of Twente na de winterstop.
In de tweede week van december zullen door de KNVB ook de aanvangstijden voor de wedstrijden in de 19de tot de 32ste speelronde worden vastgesteld. De bond streeft daarbij naar een gelijkmatige verdeling van de afwijkende aanvangstijden.
De wedstrijden in de 33ste en 34ste speelronde worden traditioneel op hetzelfde aanvangstijdstip op respectievelijk zondag 5 mei 2013 (12.30 uur) en zondag 12 mei 2013 (14.30 uur).
