Vanmiddag vanaf 16.30 uur speelt FC Groningen in Euroborg de thuiswedstrijd tegen sc Heerenveen. Voor de noordelijke derby zijn nog kaarten verkrijgbaar. De kassa’s openen om 15.00 uur.
Voor alle drie tribunes zijn nog kaarten verkrijgbaar vanaf 24 euro voor volwassenen. De jeugd tot en met 12 jaar betaalt een prijs vanaf 19 euro bij aanschaf via deze website. Bij de aanschaf van kaarten voor deze wedstrijd is geen ClubCard nodig. FIFA2014 FC Groningen en Media Markt hebben rond deze wedstrijd een unieke FIFA 2014-competitie opgestart. Een kleine tweehonderd FC-fans streden om een plek in de finale van deze competitie. Komende zondag rond 16.10 uur zal de Groningse afgevaardigde het opnemen tegen een Friese supporter in de digitale versie van de Derby van het Noorden. Het duel is te volgen via de vidiwalls in Euroborg. Aangelicht stadion Een deel van Euroborg zal vanaf zondag bij de Derby van het Noorden in totaal drie duels groen worden aangelicht. Samen met het bedrijf RIW Techniek en Energy Valley Topclub-partner Imtech zal tussen de hoofdentree van het stadion en het gebouw van het Alfa-college sfeerverlichting worden aangebracht. Tevens zullen er over een gedeelte van circa 2 x 15 meter groene LED-armaturen worden aangebracht aan de rand van het stadiondak.
