Na de geweldige woensdagavond in Euroborg speelt FC Groningen vanavond opnieuw thuis in de Groene Kathedraal. Go Ahead Eagles is de tegenstander in de enige zaterdagavondwedstrijd in Euroborg van dit seizoen. Aanvang is 19.45 uur. Het stadion en de kassa's openen om 18.15 uur. Overdag is er verkoop via deze website, bij Primera en in de FanCorner.
Euroborg is zaterdagavond om 18.15 uur geopend, net als de kassa’s bij Ingang 2. De kaartverkoop voor deze wedstrijd loopt prima. Tickets kunnen gekocht worden via deze website, bij de FanCorner en Primera en zijn voor de drie publiekstribunes verkrijgbaar vanaf 21 euro. Verkeersdrukte Bezoekers van de wedstrijd van FC Groningen dienen rekening te houden met verkeersdrukte. Behalve de uitstroom van de reguliere bezoekers van de Groninger binnenstad, wordt ‘de ring’ zaterdagavond 31 januari extra belast door evenementen in MartiniPlaza en Kardinge. In MartiniPlaza zijn twee voorstellingen van de populaire musical War Horse en een thuiswedstrijd van basketbalclub Donar. Op Kardinge spelen zaterdagavond de ijshockeyers van GIJS en de korfballers van Nic./Alfa College thuis.
Vaantjes wisselen Veel van de deelnemers aan het Amateurconvenant zullen aanwezig zijn bij de wedstrijd. Om extra voetbalbeleving te creëren, worden er vaantjes uitgewisseld met de clubs die aanwezig zijn! De ontvangen vaantjes gaan een mooi plekje krijgen in stadion Euroborg en de amateurclubs krijgen er een mooie vaan van de FC voor terug. Ook enkele selectiespelers zijn zaterdag tussen 18.45 uur en 19.15 uur aanwezig bij het standbeeld van Tonny van Leeuwen (bij de hoofdingang) om vaantjes uit te wisselen en op de foto te gaan met de teams. Hier is ook een huisfotograaf van FC Groningen bij aanwezig.
FC Groningen – Go Ahead Eagles (zaterdag 31 januari, 19.45 uur) Vrije verkoop sinds vrijdag 16 januari om 9.00 uur via deze website, de FanCorner en bij Primera. Prijzen vanaf 21 euro voor volwassenen. Jeugd vanaf 16 euro. Op zaterdag 31 januari worden bij FanCorner (10.00-17.00 uur) en de kassa’s (vanaf 18.15 uur) uitsluitend kaarten verkocht op basis van legitimatie aan inwoners van de provincies Groningen, Drenthe en Friesland.
