FC Groningen gaat in het KNVB-bekertoernooi op bezoek bij Topklasser Haaglandia of hoofdklasser SVZW. Het onderlinge duel tussen de amateurs wordt woensdag 25 augustus gespeeld. De winnaar speelt op dinsdag 21, woensdag 22 of donderdag 23 september thuis tegen FC Groningen.
Haaglandia ontstond in 2005 door een fusie tussen FC Kranenburg en RVC Rijswijk en eindigde de afgelopen seizoenen standaard in het linkerrijtje van de Zondag Hoofdklasse A. Het plaatste zich vorig jaar door middel van een vierde plek onder leiding van Albert van der Dussen voor de Topklasse. Vorig jaar eindigde Haaglandia-Excelsior in de KNVB-beker in 6-6 en wonnen de Rotterdammers vervolgens na strafschoppen.
SVZW uit Wierden werd opgericht in 1948 en speelt komend seizoen in de Zaterdag Hoofdklasse C. De afgelopen jaren was de ploeg een topper in de Eerste Klasse D van het zaterdagvoetbal, waarin het afgelopen seizoen kampioen werd en voor de tweede keer in het bestaan promoveerde naar de Hoofdklasse.
