Vrijdag 20 mei ontmoeten kopstukken van wel heel verschillende takken van sport elkaar om te praten over ‘Groen Ondernemen’: FC Groningen en de Energy Valley Top Club en bekende GroenLinks politici. Drie Tweede Kamerleden, fractievoorzitter Jolande Sap, Bruno Braakhuis en Ineke van Gent, en Europarlementariër Bas Eickhout brengen in het kader van 'Jolande's Groene Provincietoer' die middag een werkbezoek aan de Euroborg.
Van 11.45 tot 13.00 uur is er de gelegenheid voor het ‘groene’ FC Groningen en de Energy Valley Top Club om aan de Kamerleden en Europarlementariër duidelijk te maken hoe en waarom ze zo goed scoren met duurzaamheid. Het doel om een groot publiek te informeren over energie-innovaties en -ontwikkelingen lijkt te zijn gehaald. De club heeft er zelfs een prijs mee gewonnen. Hoe doen ze dat en hoe kan GroenLinks andere bedrijven en instellingen motiveren om ook te scoren met ‘Groen Ondernemen’?
Jolande Sap bezoekt tot de zomer van 2012 elke maand een provincie, op zoek naar de verhalen van groene ondernemers. Ze wordt bij haar zoektocht onder andere vergezeld door lokale GroenLinks politici en Tweede Kamerleden. De provinciebezoeken worden afgesloten met een politieke talkshow ‘Borrelen met Sap’; in Groningen vanaf 16.30 uur in de Stadsschouwburg.
