FC Groningen geeft haar trouwe aanhang volgend seizoen een gratis mobiel telefoonabonnement. Iedere supporter krijgt bij aanschaf van een seizoenkaart een FC Groningen mobiel abonnement, met daarbij maandelijks 30 gratis belminuten of 30 gratis sms’jes. Ook kunnen de fans met het abonnement onderling gratis bellen en genieten van het laatste FC Groningen nieuws en de SMS goal alerts.
FC Groningen was de eerste voetbalclub in Europa met een eigen telefoonabonnement. De club is nu ook de eerste die dit abonnement gratis gaat weggeven. Hans Nijland, algemeen directeur FC Groningen over deze actie: “Onze supporters zijn voor ons erg belangrijk. We willen de band met onze achterban graag verstevigen, dat kan heel goed met FC Groningen mobiel. Het geeft ons de gelegenheid om snel en rechtstreeks te communiceren met onze aanhang, doordat we berichten en nieuws kunnen versturen. Maar natuurlijk is het ook fijn dat we iets extra’s kunnen geven aan alle trouwe fans die ons al jaren steunen.”
De actie is uniek in de voetbalwereld, maar ook in de telecomwereld waar over het algemeen alleen gestunt wordt met gratis toestellen. Frans Nomden van Club Mobiel, het bedrijf achter FC Groningen mobiel: “FC Groningen mobiel bestaat nu één jaar en is een succes. Het is een prachtige actie voor de supporters en een succes van FC Groningen mobiel komt rechtstreeks ten goede aan de club. Het mes snijdt dus aan twee kanten.”
Bij het gratis FC Groningen mobiel abonnement worden geen aansluitkosten of abonnementskosten in rekening gebracht. Iedere maand zijn de eerste 30 belminuten of sms’jes gratis. Bellers met FC Groningen mobiel bellen gratis met elkaar en krijgen op hun mobiel SMS goal alerts.
Er zijn scherp geprijsde belbundels beschikbaar voor fans die meer dan een half uur willen bellen. Het contract kan altijd worden gewijzigd of opgezegd.
