Scheidsrechter Serdar Gözübüyük fluit zondagmiddag voor de negende keer een thuiswedstrijd van FC Groningen. De arbiter heeft tot nu toe alleen een competitiewedstrijd uit tegen Ajax en een bekerduel in en tegen Genemuiden geleid, de overige acht wedstrijden onder zijn leiding werden allemaal in Euroborg gespeeld.
FC Groningen – ADO Den Haag begint zondagmiddag om 14.30 uur. Voor het competitieduel in Euroborg zijn nog voldoende kaarten beschikbaar. Bij de aanschaf ervan gelden geen restricties. De kaartverkoop vindt plaats via de reguliere verkoopkanalen, waaronder deze website. FC Groningen is dit seizoen in eigen huis nog ongeslagen en heeft met een reeks van zeven ongeslagen competitiewedstrijden op rij (uit en thuis) inmiddels de langste serie zonder nederlaag neergezet van alle Eredivisieclubs. Voor het eerst Eerder dit seizoen was Gözübüyük de leidsman tijdens FC Groningen – Ajax (1-1). De arbiter floot in het seizoen 2010/2011 voor het eerst in Euroborg. Het duel tussen FC Groningen en Excelsior eindigde toen in een 2-0 thuiszege voor de FC. Ook blies Gözübüyük dat seizoen op de fluit bij de wedstrijd FC Groningen – Heracles Almelo, die eindigde in een 1-4 nederlaag voor de Trots van het Noorden.
In 2011/2012 stonden FC Groningen-Utrecht (1-0) en FC Groningen-Vitesse (1-3) onder zijn leiding. Vorig seizoen was Gözübüyük de scheidsrechter tijdens de met 3-1 verloren thuiswedstrijd tegen PSV en de ontmoetingen met Feyenoord (2-2) en VVV-Venlo (0-0) in Euroborg.
