Bart van Hintum is met zijn 33 jaar één van de oudste spelers binnen de selectie van FC Groningen. De vleugelverdediger speelt al ruim vijftien jaar als professional en is dit seizoen uitstekend in vorm. Van Hintum is door goed voor zijn lichaam te zorgen al die jaren topfit geweest. De routinier en bewust bezig met gezond leven en wil een voorbeeld zijn voor jonge ploeggenoten. In de FOX Sports Special ‘Bart van Hintum in vorm’ neemt de verdediger de kijker mee in zijn leven als topsporter.
In de FOX Sports Special komen naast de hoofdpersoon ook zijn verloofde Michelle en fysiektrainer Jarno Voorintholt aan het woord over de gedrevenheid waarmee Van Hintum zijn sport beoefent. Hij heeft mede door zijn levensstijl en toewijding aan het voetballen op latere leeftijd de stap omhoog naar FC Groningen kunnen maken en groeit nog altijd in Groningen.
De Special wordt donderdag om 17.30 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports kanaal 1. Vanaf donderdagavond 18.00 uur is de Special te zien via het YouTube-kanaal van FC Groningen.
