Huisfotograaf Jan Kanning knipte zondagmiddag in en rond Euroborg heel wat rolletjes vol om de vele activiteiten vast te leggen.
Zijn fotoverslag eindigt met de spelerspresentatie, waarin zich nog enkele aardige zaken voordeden. Zo kregen de aanwezigen een dansende doelman Luciano te zien. Verder blijkt Sepp De Roover erg van de muziek Dire Straits te houden. Beloofde Oluwefemi Ajilore het publiek dat ‘Everything’s gonna be allright’, waarmee hij een toespeling maakte op de Europese ambities van de club.
Gibril Sankoh werd al aan het begin van de middag gepresenteerd en haastte zich vervolgens naar moeder en zoon. Brian van Loo was wel van de partij. Tim Matavz zegde toe zijn voeten te zullen laten spreken en Serhat Koç blijkt een fan te zijn van de boksfilms van Rocky. Michael Jansen kreeg met ‘We will rock you’ het publiek op de banken. De nieuwe aanvoerder Koen van de Laak en Danny Holla gingen de strijd aan om de titel ‘grappigste van de kleedkamer’.
