Afgelopen vrijdag konden leden van de Green White Bengels (GWB) hun zomervakantie op een leuke manier afsluiten. Speciaal voor de GWB was er zaal gereserveerd in Wolff bioscoop waar de film “Let’s Be Cops” werd gedraaid.
Ruim 250 jonge FC Groningen supporters in de leeftijd tussen de 13 en 17 jaar wisten de weg richting de bioscoop te vinden. Bij de ingang van de zaal kreeg de jeugd een blikje frisdrank mee. De eveneens uitgedeelde consumptiemunt mochten zij naar keus besteden, deze werd veelal omgewisseld voor een bak met lekkere popcorn. Om 19.30 uur werden de deuren naar de zaal gesloten en werd de film gestart.
De film komedie gaat over twee vrienden die als politieagent naar een gekostumeerd feest gaan. Ze worden echter aangezien als echte agenten en maken daar flink gebruik/misbruik van. Maar het loopt verkeerd wanneer ze een echte Russische gangster tegen het lijf lopen en ze langzamerhand in allerlei problemen verzeild raken.
Aan de reacties van de bezoekers in de zaal te merken, was het filmbezoek een groot succes! Van begin tot eind zat de stemming er goed in; er werd flink gelachen tijden de komische momenten van de film. Rond 21.30 uur was de film afgelopen en stroomde de zaal weer leeg. Hoewel, er is behoorlijk wat popcorn achtergebleven in de zaal…
