In FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond vooruit gekeken naar de uitwedstrijd van zaterdagavond tegen PEC Zwolle. Daarnaast was FCG TV aanwezig bij een keepersclinic van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur bij het stad-Groninger Velocitas en een fotoshoot met Michael de Leeuw.
Zaterdagavond speelt FC Groningen na bijna negen jaar weer een uitwedstrijd in Zwolle. De laatste keer dat beide ploegen elkaar troffen was op 14 december 2003. Toen eindigde het duel voor FC Groningen teleurstellend in 1-1. PEC Zwolle, toen nog FC Zwolle geheten, zou aan het einde van het seizoen 2003/2004 degraderen. Afgelopen seizoen werd PEC kampioen van de Jupiler League en staat de wedstrijd tegen FC Groningen weer op het programma.
Bij PEC Zwolle treft FC Groningen vier oud-Groningers: Joost Broerse, Darryl Lachman, Leon ter Wielen en Frank Olijve. De laatste zal overigens niet in actie komen omdat hij herstellende is van een blessure. Lachman en Ter Wielen kijken uit naar de confrontatie met hun oude club. Ondanks dat ze met PEC Zwolle nog maar twee punten uit vijf wedstrijden hebben gehaald, zien ze kansen tegen FC Groningen dat met vier punten maar vijf plaatsen hoger staat dan de Zwollenaren.
FC Groningen zal er alles aan doen om Zwolle met drie punten te verlaten. Het trainde de afgelopen dagen op het kunstgras van VV Actief in Eelde om alvast te kunnen wennen aan de ondergrond die de FC ook treft in Zwolle. Johan Kappelhof keert na één wedstrijd afwezigheid weer terug in het elftal van trainer Robert Maaskant. Kappelhof kwam ruim een week geleden hard in aanraking met Suk en speelt tegen PEC Zwolle dan ook met drie hechtingen boven zijn rechterwenkbrauw.
Afgelopen woensdag was FCG TV te gast bij een keepersclinic van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur. De clinic werd gegeven aan jeugdkeepers van het stad-Groninger Velocitas. RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur gaat jaarlijks bij verschillende amateurverenigingen langs om zo iets terug te kunnen doen voor verenigingen die keepers afstaan aan de jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen. Het bijzondere van de clinics is dat deze mede worden gegeven door de jeugdkeepers van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur.
Wie deze week de Voetbal International onder ogen heeft gekregen, zal ongetwijfeld het uitgebreide interview met Michael de Leeuw niet hebben gemist. Eén van de foto’s bij het artikel werd vorige week gemaakt naast Euroborg. FCG TV was getuige van de fotoshoot en vroeg De Leeuw hoe het was om als fotomodel te fungeren.
Let op: de reguliere uitzending van FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.50 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. De herhaling op EL 2 is om 23.00 uur. Morgen wordt FCG TV om 08.30 uur herhaald op EL 1. En om 16.40 uur is FCG TV te zien op EL 1, voorafgaande aan PEC Zwolle – FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur waarna deze tot zondagochtend om 9.00 uur wordt herhaald.
