De spelers van FC Groningen fotografeerden elkaar maandagmiddag in het Groninger Museum voor het goede doel Make-A-Wish Nederland. Fotograaf Harry Cock begeleidde de spelers en maakte een groepsfoto.
De foto’s worden vanaf vrijdag 11 april tentoongesteld in het Groninger Museum en Stadion Euroborg. De gesigneerde foto’s worden daarna online geveild. De groepsfoto, van de bekende fotograaf Harry Cock, met de handtekening van de spelers wordt geveild tijdens het benefietgala van FC Groningen op maandag 14 april. FC Groningen en het Groninger Museum hopen op een mooie opbrengst voor Make-A-Wish Nederland. Topsport Deze tijd vraagt om nieuwe verbindingen en samenwerkingsvormen om de maatschappelijke functie van verschillende partijen aan elkaar te verbinden en hun krachten en kwaliteiten uit te dragen. Het Groninger Museum en FC Groningen staan middenin de maatschappij en zijn de trots van het Noorden. FC Groningen speelt in de Eredivisie en het Groninger Museum is een belangrijke speler in Museumland Nederland en daarbuiten. Voor beiden is het topsport op hoog niveau. Goede doel De eerste kennismaking met FC Groningen is vorig jaar ontstaan. De spelers Rasmus Lindgren en Tim Sparv werden rondgeleid in het Groninger Museum. Het enthousiasme was zo groot dat ze daarna in het museum een paar mooie werken hebben geschilderd. Door deze actie werd de idee geboren om fotografie in te zetten voor het goede doel. Het is uiteindelijk een project geworden met een workshop fotografie in het Groninger Museum, een tentoonstelling in het museum en Euroborg, een boekje met de foto’s en een online veiling.
