FC Groningen speelt ter afsluiting van het seizoen donderdag en vrijdag nog een tweetal oefenduels voor goede doelen. Op donderdag is Make-A-Wish in Werkendam het goede doel. Vrijdag wordt in Rotterdam gespeeld tegen de Suriprofs.
Na de wedstrijd tegen vv Harkstede van afgelopen zaterdag, treedt de ploeg donderdag om 18.30 uur aan tegen Kozakken Boys. Die ploeg is in de zaterdag Hoofdklasse B nog in de race om promotie naar de Topklasse. De ploeg speelt in een halve competitie met RVVH en ASWH om een plek in de halve finale van de play-offs.
Donderdag 17 mei vanaf 17.30 uur openen de kassa’s op het sportpark van Kozakken Boys in Werkendam. De wedstrijd is een benefietduel voor Make-A-Wish Nederland. Prijzen zijn 10 euro voor een tribunekaart, 8 euro voor een staanplaats voor volwassenen en 5 euro voor jeugd tot en met 16 jaar.
De selectie van FC Groningen zal donderdag na de wedstrijd tegen Kozakken Boys afreizen naar Scheveningen en daar de nachten van donderdag op vrijdag en vrijdag op zaterdag doorbrengen. Het weekend geldt als afsluiting van het seizoen 2011/2012.
Op vrijdagavond 18 mei om 19.30 uur wordt op Het Kasteel afgetrapt in de jaarlijkse benefietwedstrijd van de Suriprofs. Dit duel is vrijdagavond rechtstreeks te volgen via Eredivisie Live. Kaarten zijn te koop via www.spartakaartje.nl.
