FC Groningen verlengt contract Henk Bos met een jaar.

FC Groningen heeft het aflopende contract van Henk Bos met één seizoen verlengd. De Trots van het Noorden heeft daarna de optie op nog eens een contractjaar met de 21-jarige aanvaller/middenvelder.
Bos is afkomstig uit de jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen en debuteerde in het seizoen 2011/2012 in het eerste elftal. Hij speelde daarna in nog eens vijftien officiële wedstrijden voor de FC, waarin hij niet tot scoren kwam. Bos raakte vorig jaar in de allereerste oefenwedstrijd van de voorbereiding op het nieuwe seizoen zwaar geblesseerd aan de knie. Hij revalideerde het volledige seizoen 2013/2014. Optie FC Groningen wil komend seizoen bekijken wat de rol van Bos kan worden binnen de eerste selectie en welke ontwikkeling hij na zijn blessure gaat maken. De club heeft daarom het aflopende contract met hem voor één seizoen verlengd. Na volgend seizoen ligt er aan de kant van FC Groningen een optie om de verbintenis met Bos met nog eens één jaar te verlengen.
