Afgelopen zaterdag werd in Hoogezand-Sappemeer een bijzondere samenwerking tussen FC Groningen en wooncorporatie Lefier geopend. FC Groningen TV was van de partij en maakte een reportage.
FC Groningen TV begint vandaag (woensdag) om 18.45 uur. In deze uitzending is er daarnaast aandacht voor Thomas Enevoldsen en Grafton Holband. Leefbaarheid en welzijn FC Groningen en Lefier willen de komende jaren de kracht van sport benutten om de leefbaarheid en het welzijn van de bewoners van verschillende wijken in de gemeente Hoogezand-Sappemeer te bevorderen.
Zaterdag gaven directeur Hans Nijland en de spelers Tom Hiariej, Shkodran Metaj en Leandro Bacuna meteen het goede voorbeeld door onder anderen te dansen voor Warchild. Afscheid Thomas Enevoldsen testte samen met GasTerra Flames-basketballer Aron Royé bij hoofdsponsor Noordlease twee auto’s. De bevindingen van Enevoldsen zijn te zien in deze aflevering.
Tenslotte is er een portret van Grafton Holband, trainer van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur C1. Hij stopt na veertien jaar als jeugdtrainer bij FC Groningen. Holband speelde van 1989 tot 1993 in totaal 116 officiële duels in het eerste elftal van FC Groningen.
Te zien FC Groningen TV wordt deze week herhaald op Eredivisie Live om 23.45 uur, donderdagmorgen om 8.15 uur, vrijdag om 9.45 uur en 16.00 uur en zaterdag- en zondagochtend om 08.30 uur.
