Vanaf vandaag, dinsdag 30 juli, is FC Groningen TV elke dinsdag en vrijdag weer te zien op Fox Sports Eredivisie, voorheen Eredivisie Live.
Het vijfde seizoen begint met een overzicht van de voorbereiding van FC Groningen, de nieuwe hoofdtrainer Erwin van de Looi die vertelt wat hij komend seizoen met FC Groningen voor ogen heeft, een samenvatting van het laatste oefenduel van FC Groningen tegen FC Emmen en algemeen directeur Hans Nijland die vertelt hoe FC Groningen er financieel voor staat.
In de eerste aflevering van het vijfde seizoen FC Groningen TV blikken programmamakers Emiel Venema en Jos Schoenmaker uitgebreid terug op de voorbereiding van FC Groningen op het seizoen 2013/2014. FCG TV was aanwezig bij de eerste training in Haren en laat beelden zien van alle oefenwedstrijden. Daarnaast is er aandacht voor de nieuwe spelers die FC Groningen deze zomer zijn komen versterken.
De nieuwe hoofdtrainer van FC Groningen, Erwin van de Looi, vertelt in FCG TV wat zijn sportieve ambities zijn komend seizoen en wat hij met zijn jonge ploeg het komende jaargang voor ogen heeft. Algemeen directeur Hans Nijland gaat in op de financiële situatie van de club die vanmiddag bekend wordt gemaakt tijdens de jaarlijkse persdag in Euroborg.
Afgelopen zondag eindigde de oefencampagne van FC Groningen met een 1-1 gelijkspel tegen FC Emmen. Na een redelijke eerste helft viel de FC in de tweede helft terug. In FCG TV is vanavond een samenvatting te zien met reacties van Van de Looi en Rasmus Lindgren.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur uitgezonden op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports. De herhaling is te zien om 19.00 uur en 22.20 uur op kanaal 1 en om 18.00 uur, 20.00 uur en 22.00 uur op kanaal 2.
